To update the details of students on the SDMS portal, the school has to log in with the previously given UDISE code and password for the year 2023-24 and complete the following steps.
1. According to the class section given in the school, you have to create a section on the portal.
2. Result, Pass %, No. of all students according to class section in Progression Module. of Days School Attend, School Status –In Same School or Transfer to Another School is to be filled and data is to be finalized according to all sections of all classes.
3. After finalizing all the class sections in the Progression Module, the school has to be finalized.
4. Using Import Module, students of any school (will be available in Drop Box) can be imported into your school.
5. List of those students will be available in DropBox Module
1. Who is in-active, 2. Has dropped out, 3. Some school has passed the students of the last class of their school and transferred them to another school. 4. The school has issued the transfer certificate of the student.
6. New students can be added only in LKG, UKG, Nursary and 1st class. To add another class, send a request at the block level.
7. By promoting the students of class LKG, UKG and Nursary to 1st class, their class has to be corrected from the School Dashboard.
8. Student data has to be completed by updating the GP, EP, FP profile of all the students as per the list given on the School Dashboard.

Schools to update details of students on SDMS portal
SDMS पोर्टल पर छात्रो का विवरण अपडेट करने के लिए स्कूल को पहले दिए गये UDISE Code व् पासवर्ड से वर्ष 2023-24 में लॉग इन करना है व् निम्नलिखित स्टेप्स को पूरा करना है |
1. स्कूल में दिए गये Class Section के अनुसार आपको पोर्टल पर सेक्शन बनाने है |
2. Progression Module में कक्षा के सेक्शन के अनुसार सभी विद्यार्थियों का Result, Pass %, No. of Days School Attend, School Status –In Same School or Transfer to Another School भरा जाना है व् सभी Class के सभी Section के अनुसार Data Finalize किया जाना है |
3. Progression Module में सभी Class Section को Finalize करने के उपरान्त स्कूल को Finalize किया जाना है |
4. Import Module का प्रयोग करके किसी भी स्कूल के विद्यार्थियो को (Drop Box में उपलब्ध होंगे ) अपने स्कूल में Import किया जा सकता है |
5. DropBox Module में उन छात्रो की सूचि उपलब्ध होगी
1. जो In-Active है , 2. ड्राप आउट है 3. किसी स्कूल ने अपने स्कूल की अंतिम कक्षा के छात्रों को पास करके अन्य स्कूल के लिए Transfer कर दिया है | 4. स्कूल ने विद्यार्थी का Transfer Certificate जारी कर दिया है |
6. नये विद्यार्थी केवल LKG, UKG, Nursary व् 1st कक्षा में add किये जा सकते है | अन्य कक्षा में add करने के लिए ब्लोक स्तर पर request भेजे |
7. कक्षा LKG, UKG व् Nursary के विद्यार्थियों को 1st कक्षा में Promote करके उनकी कक्षा School Dashboard से ठीक की जानी है |
8. School Dashboard पर दी गयी सूचि के अनुसार सभी विद्यार्थियों की GP,EP, FP profile को Update करके स्टूडेंट डाटा कम्पलीट क्ररना है
